Data Protection Authority chairman warns of shortage of national experts

The company BIS TP, owned by Zein El Abidine, president of the National Union of Mauritanian Employers and a well-known businessman with activities in various sectors from construction to technology, has been selected to build the new headquarters of the drug quality control laboratory in Mauritania. The project, valued at approximately 1.05 million euros, was awarded after a selection process based on the quality of the proposal and the financial cost, beating the bids of Ama Partners and Cotram.
France promotes financial inclusion through training in Mauritania
On February 27, 2025, the Banque Centrale de Mauritanie (BCM) and the EDUCFI Department of the Banque de France signed a cooperation agreement to promote financial education. The initiative will enable the BCM to access, adapt, translate and disseminate locally the materials of the "ABC de l'économie" program, with the aim of raising awareness and educating the public on current economic and financial challenges in Mauritania.

The Autonomous Port of Nouakchott strengthens its capacity
